Jason Willer

Coach Willer is a proud Borah graduate of the class of 1990 and is beginning his 5th year as the head coach of the Borah girls basketball program.  Following the 2015/16 season Coach Willer was honored as the SIC Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Lions back to State after an 8 year hiatus.  Prior to coming to Borah, Coach Willer spent 4 years as JV coach and 2 years varsity assistant coach with the Capital High School girls basketball program. Coach Willer has over 23 years of coaching experience that include both girls and boys basketball, as well as, football and wrestling.  Coach Willer also teaches Economics at Borah.

 


Brandon Willer

Brandon Willer is in his 4th season as the varsity assistant coach for the Lady Lions. Coach Willer is a proud 1993 Graduate of Borah High. During his time at Borah he was a 4-time letterman in both Basketball and Baseball and was part of the 1993 basketball state championship team under Coach Williams. He has learned many great life lessons playing basketball and hopes to pass those and his basketball skills onto the girls.  While most of coach Willer experience coaching comes from lower level, he is excited to work with the talented varsity girls. Missy Wheeler

Coach Wheeler is a 1991 graduate of Meridian High School where she was a multisport athlete playing soccer, basketball and softball. She played basketball at Walla Walla Community College and basketball and softballat at Eastern Oregon University. She has 16 years of experience coachingbasketball with stints at Eastern Oregon University, Meridian, Capital, Mt.View and Caldwell High Schools. This is her 1st year as a varsity assistant coach after 4 years as the head JV coach at Borah High School. She is also in her 6th year as the HeadVarsity Softball coach at Borah High School.

Jeremy Parkinson

Coach Parkinson hasalways been a basketball fanatic and has always dreamed of coachingbasketball.  Jeremy started coaching his daughter’s teams ten yearsago.  He has coached six different AAU teams and has coached in fourdifferent Treasure Valley AAU championship games. Jeremy is beginning hisfirst season as the head JV coach after spending 3 years as the head Sophomorecoach and 1 year as a Varsity Assistant.  He has discovered that he lovescoaching girl’s basketball and now spends hours studying the girl’sgame.  He loves the emotion and passion that the girls play with.

Outside of basketball,Jeremy is a Senior Private Banker and Team Leader at Idaho TrustBank.  Jeremy has a finance degree from Idaho State University and aMBA from Boise State University.  Jeremy loves living in Idahobecause of the great outdoors.  During the summer months, you willoften find Jeremy at Lucky Peak pulling kids on wakeboards, kneeboards, waterskis and surf boards behind his boat.  Occasionally, he even gets towaterski.  Jeremy is happily married to his wife Libby and they havethree children, Blake, Meghan and Kendra.

Beth Beus

Coach Beus is a 2005 graduate of Melba High School where she played volleyball, basketball, and softball. She attended BYU-Idaho to become a teacher so that she could coach! This is her 7th year coaching basketball, 2nd year coaching at Borah. She is also an assistant Volleyball coach for the Lady Lions. She is so excited to be a part of the program! Go Lions!


Chad Bleazard

Coach Bleazard has six years of coaching experience, including baseball, basketball, track, and golf. His basketball coaching experience has been at South Junior High, Pocatello High School, and Boise High School. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as participating in athletics and activities outdoors.Coach Bleazard is a graduate of Boise State University, and is currently teaching social studies at Borah High School. 


Amy Bilger

Amy is taking on a new position with the Lady Lions as the Program Information Coordinator.  

Amy grew up in Southern California, where she played four years of volleyball, basketball and softball in high school. She continued playing softball for California Baptist University, where she met her husband, Mark Bilger. She was a school counselor and the head varsity volleyball coach at Arrowhead Christian Academy prior to becoming a mom. Mark and Amy have been married for 26 years and have four kids - Mason, Montana, Mackenzie, and Michal. She is currently a special education teacher at Maple Grove elementary and has been teaching sped for 18 years. 

Amy has just finished an eight year stint of being a Borah Mom! All four kids played multiple sports while attending Borah. Besides being "team mom" for multiple sports teams, Amy was the co-founder and managed the club softball program "Crush" for seven years.Her responsibilities while involved in that organization will benefit our program here at Borah. Some of her responsibilities with the Lady Lions will be overseeing fundraising, communication with parents, and organizing events/tournaments.
